Im using UniFi Network, there is actually a clean workaround in the GUI to get full native IPv6 working for your main network without needing manual SSH route hacks. Since Elisa currently doesn't grant standard DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation (PD) but provides a prefix via SLAAC, you can use UniFi's Single Network feature to map that single prefix directly to your primary LAN: WAN Settings (Internet 1): IPv6 Connection: Set to SLAAC. Delegation Type: Select Single Network (instead of Prefix Delegation). LAN Settings (Networks -> Default): IPv6 Interface Type: Set to Prefix Delegation. Prefix Delegation Interface: Select Internet 1. Prefix Delegation ID: Leave on Auto. By selecting Single Network on the WAN interface, UniFi takes the single /64 prefix received from Elisa and attaches it directly to your primary LAN segment. Your local clients will immediately receive native public 2001:... addresses via SLAAC. This only works for a single network/VLAN because only one /64 is advertised, but it gives you a fully functional, native IPv6 setup for your main network.

Hey! I had the same issue today (yes, I know it's pretty late to upgrade from 39 to 41). I had an old, unmaintained VM at Hetzner. Don't judge me! I realised that Hetzner's cloud-init was writing the configuration to /etc/systemd/network/10-cloud-init-eth0.network, but the systemd-networkd service was disabled. On Fedora 39 the systemd-networkd service was also disabled, BUT the network.service was running (and using /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/), which was not the case in Fedora 41 anymore (systemctl status network => network.service not found). After enabling systemd-networkd, my VM got its public IP address and DNS settings via DHCP and everything started working again. Thanks for your post here anyway, it helped me debug and narrow down the issue.

AI comment almost makes sense to a person who never played the game. To anybody how actually has played will know the "slow'n'steady" won't get you far. Additionally, trying to get the motorcycle into that position I managed to get it is impossible. Can not be done 2nd time.

Very interesting breakdown, especially the contrast between how older consumer devices behave and how modern Linux handles collision checking and gratuitous ARPs. I had been looking at ARP traffic on my own network not long ago and noticed very similar patterns. Thanks for sharing all the packet-level details, it’s rare to see it explained with actual captures.
